This model of track bike (version TK8) was used at the 2008 Olympic Games, with the only 2 medals for the New Zealand team were won by Hayden Roulston (silver in the individual pursuit) and the men's team pursuit (bronze).
The bikes were ridden by many different riders, so while difficult to tell exactly who rode each bike, we do know for sure that this one was ridden at some stage by Myron Simpson. The bike. Been rebuilt with a Zen rear disc wheel, Zen tri spoke front wheel, BT handlebrs/aeros, and a Selle San Marco Rolls saddle.
